On June 30, 2009 tag lines were added to the two "Welcome to Historic Evergreen" signs located at the East and West sides of the town on State Hwy. 29.  The town alderman had taken action on this item at their January 12, 2009 meeting. As part of a state grant for signage needs in the town, the town alderman and mayor were enthusiastic in their support of the request to add the website address to the two welcome signs to their list of needs. Mayor John Armand and the town alderman are to be commended and know of our appreciation for their leadership role in this matter.  

 



Additionally, on July 2, 2009 the website address was added to the sign at Gauthier's Repair Shop. Through the generosity and assistance of Ervin Gauthier and the assistance of Fred Nelson, the tag line was installed in a manner similar to the Evergreen Welcome signs.
