Ben Christopher Juneau

Services for Ben Christopher Juneau will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, March 23, 2009 the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria with Father Steve Brandow officiating.

Mr. Ben Christopher Juneau, age 45, of Alexandria passed away Friday, March 20, 2009 at his residence.

He was a lifelong New Orleans Saints fan and avid music lover. He was currently employed at Shaw Industries. He was employed at Cleco for 19 years, the majority of that time as a Systems Protection Maintenance Specialist. Ben had an interest in history, especially the Civil War, and participated in reenactments of battles across the South.

Ben was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with friends and family at Grand Lake.

He is preceded in death by his faithful dog of 16 years, Misha.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Robert Juneau; son, Peyton Benjamin Juneau; and parents K.B. and Ethel Juneau. Three brothers, Marc Spencer and his wife Sylvie and their children, Leah, Victor, and Sam; Jeffrey Paul Juneau and his wife Brenda and daughter Lydia; James Luke Juneau, wife Cherie and children Jacques and Pierre. Two sisters, Mary Susan Riche and husband Elliot "Pookie" and children Kyle, Noah, and Adam; Julie Ann Dunbar and husband David, and children Isabella and Claire.

Friends may call Monday at Hixson Brothers, Alexandria from 8 a.m. until service time.
