Memorial services for Annie Dora Newman Wright will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Bayou Rouge Baptist Church with the Revs. Mark Crawford and Danny Wright officiating. Burial will follow the services at the Bayou Rouge Cemetery in Evergreen. Mrs. Wright, age 78, of Bunkie, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011 in the family residence. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Shirley Wright; a grandson, John Ed Wright, Jr.; two brothers, James and Bill Newman and two sisters, Louise Stafford and Elaine Tauzin. Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Daniel Wright of Bunkie; two sons, William "Dan" Wright and wife, Gail, of Marksville and John Ed Wright and wife, Tara, of Lavonia; one daughter, Cindy Wright Dauzat of Houston, TX; four sisters, Maxine Barr, Nina Taylor, Jenny Edwards and Nona King, all of the Dallas, TX area; one brother, Ronnie Newman of Dallas, TX; nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at the Bayou Rouge Baptist Church on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011 from 10 am until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bayou Rouge Baptist Cemetery - P. O.
