After cleaning (with assistance from Fr. Ibe) and painting graves (with assistance from Erik "Fred" Nelson)  in Evergreen in preparation for All-Saints Day, my friend, Erik "Fred" Nelson and I went to Gauthier's Repair Shop and enjoyed a visit with Irvin and others who were there. 

After a brief visit with Marvin "T" and Vesta Robson, a sweet potato purchase at Todd Cullen's, a drive around "the block", a visit to two graveyards in Cottonport, it was time to return to Carencro. 

October 14, 2010...a beautiful day in Avoyelles and a good time to remember deceased friends and family...one of them, Bill Albritton, was born on this day in 1926.
