Lt. Mark Martin St.Romain, Jr. was born on December 21, 1981 in Morgan City, Louisiana to Janet Stocker Broussard and Mark St.Romain, Sr.  He is the grandson of Gail Juneau St.Romain  and the late Al St.Romain, Sr.  Mark is also the great grandson of the late Ivy Sr. and Aline Descant St.Romain and Seltz and Lilly Grandpierre Juneau, all of Cottonport.

Lt. St. Romain joined the Louisiana Army National Guard when he was 17.  He completed Basic Training at Fort Leonardwood, MO where he was selected Honor Graduate.  He completed Officer Basic Course at Fort Benning, Georgia and was once again selected Honor Graduate of his class.  Mark is an Infantry Officer on Active duty since 2004 with the LANG. 

Mark has served in Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan.  He received the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal and Army Achievement Medal.  Mark is currently training other soldiers who will be deploying to the Middle East.  He will also be returning to Iraq for a short stint very soon.

Mark is married to Meagan Payne St.Romain and they have two boys, Beauregard "Beau" and Benjamin "Ben" St.Romain.  They currently reside in Prairieville, LA.
